Those who travel beyond the borders of his country would do well to travel light. Long lines, heavy baggage checks, security measures and the threat looming danger, they often traveling for business or pleasure frankly disappointing.

Luke 10:1-11, 16-20 shows Jesus making seventy-two disciples out and share the gospel with those who had never heard his message of salvation. These followers would pave the way for Jesus, while traveling to Jerusalem. He says, "Now go, but remember, I am sending you like lambs into a pack of wolves" (Luke 10:3, CEV). "His caution light go on? Can consciousness of impending danger? An old adage says, "be forewarned is to be prepared." If ever there was a trip off-putting, that was all. However, writer George Duffield hymns, their level classic "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus", exhorts us to "let courage rise with danger" when we proclaim the gospel of Christ.

Furthermore, Jesus said to these ambassadors of faith do not take some of the items typically carried in one trip. No money, no food, no Extra shoes (Luke 10:4). Travel light! This was not a luxury vacation, but a dangerous mission. How would they survive? They had to rely on the willingness God, in response to their obedience, all their needs would be met.

We, too, are challenged to take the gospel to the world. Like those seventy-two Jesus commissioned, we also have to travel light. Often, the comforts of this world dull our sense of Christian duty and make us rest while than others around us are dying for lack of the gospel. Therefore, we have to shake the laziness, release emotional baggage, fear and doubt, and travel light.

The sin of pride is a poacher. That may result in our actions, even when they start with the purest of motives. Why did Jesus, in the return of the seventy – two of silencing his exuberance as he recounted how demons obeyed them when invoked his name? Jesus said, "Do not be happy because evil spirits obey. Be happy that your names are written in heaven "(Luke 10:20, CEV). Jesus was warning against the sin of pride, noting that what really care.

The apostle Paul in his letter aa the church in Galatia (Galatians 6: [1-6] 7-16) also challenges his readers to get rid of the sins that disturb in their Christian journey. Get rid of pride, selfishness, hypocrisy, boastfulness, and blind obedience to ritual (Galatians 6:3-4, 8), Paul says. Travel light!

Realizing how easy it is to become smug with our achievements in following Christ, Paul warns: "If someone is caught in sin, which must lead to care to that person back on track. But be careful and not be tempted to yourself … If you think you are better than others, when really they're not, you're wrong … No compares with another "(Galatians 6:1 b, 3, 4b, CEV).

You need moral and spiritual strength to "get rid of everything that slows us down, especially the sin that just will not let go "but" we should keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and makes our faith complete "(Hebrews 12:1 b, 2a, CEV).
