Do jazz dance shoes exist in size 16?

I direct the musical at my high school, and (go figure) I’ve got some very musical but football sized guys in my cast who would like to sport appropriate dance wear (jazz shoes or equivalent). They are very serious about this and are very disappointed that all of our internet searches for huge dance footwear are coming up empty. Any advice?

The thing to keep in mind with dance shoes is they run differently than street shoes. I wear a size 6 in street and a 4 in ballet shoes, for instance.

Also, make sure you are searching for mens dance shoes, not just jazz shoes- you’re more likely to find extended sizes because the unisex ones are usually women’s sizes.

I would try contacting a dance store or the customer service of a dance catalog and seeing if they can order directly from the manufacturer.
