My Spring Shoes Sandals
Proper church clothes?
The church is a baptist one out in the middle of the country of a small town..Most people wear the nice colombia shirts with jeans (yes, even the women) and leather dressy boots, but that style isn’t me. My only concern is about what shoes to wear. I have not been to church since I was a little girl, and am now planning to go with my boyfriend and his parents.
It is my view that people no longer dress up for church in order to impress God but to rather impress people. I would like to preach to a congregation wearing board shorts and flip flops just to prove my point. From what you described I’m sure it won’t be to big of an issue, depending on the people in the church – but don’t worry about them – others` opinions are more important to them then Gods’ and thats worse the dressing in a certain manner
