First Pointes. Can you help me choose a pair?
My ballet teacher has asked me to buy pointe shoes, and since there aren’t any shops that fit them any where close by, I’m buying from Dance Direct. I’m not sure which one of these two pairs I should buy from. You’ll notice they’re the cheapest pair, that’s because my mum is buying them for me.

The ones that I’m considering buying are the first two on the page,
the Sansha shoe and Bloch’s Aspiration shoe. Any other suggestions are welcomed!
I understand the need to get pointe shoes fitted, but as far as I know, there aren’t any shops that can fit them for me. Most stock other dancewear, I’ve done the research.
I’ve been working really hard to get en pointe and this is my last year before I go to college in May, so I really hope to get on for just a little while at least.
Thanks for all the advice.
You HAVE to have your first pointe shoes fitted by a profesional otherwise you can really hurt yourself. It is so so dangerous, you have got to get a fitting even if you have to travel a little bit to get them you just have to get them fitted, it would be so irresponisble of your dance teacher to tell you to buy them online. I beg you not to do it. All pointe shoes fit differently and are different than your regular shoe size so its hard to ballpark what size it will be. If you must buy them online buy several pairs in several sizes and take them to your dance teacher and have her fit them for you and then send the regects back. Getting a fitting is really important my first fitting took about an hour and a half, I tried on about 100 pairs of shoes (not exaggerating) and several types of padding before me and the fitter were satified with the fit and comfort. Please get a fitting!
