Can anyone recommend good steel toe boots?
My husband is the Wolverine Academy http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=content&target=products/footwear/mens/lace_up_steel_toe&start=24&selectedSKU=0545-24493-4349, he likes them because they are very comfortable and have not hurt his feet. But we realize that the rapid fall apart super. The seam is out, and the bottom of the sole and rubber shoes are worn to almost nothing, after about a year of use. Is this normal? Or is there a better, just as a comfortable kind could try?
go to a military surplus store, and you take a pair of combat boots new and older models. Steel-toed heels with a steel Somtimes steel rod at the bottom. They are made to take extreme abuse, waterproof, and very comfortable. Soldiers literally standing around them for hours. They are the best option for long-term use. just use my sutra in buying work clothes .. "If you can stand the combat, which can handle the job civil. "
